The Duchess of York, also known as Fergie, is likely to be catapulted back in to the public eye when her youngest daughter marries Jack Brooksbank at Windsor’s St George’s Chapel on October.

The location is where Meghan Markle and Prince Harry wed in May, where Sarah arrived, arms splayed in her usual dramatic fashion.

She was blacklisted by many members of the royal family in 1992 when pictures emerged of the redhead receiving a toe-sucking from oil tycoon John Bryan.

Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew, who have two daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, later divorced in 1996.

Speaking about the Royal Wedding, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told Express.co.uk: “Sarah Ferguson’s style was never low key and this is her opportunity to shine.”

Sarah has not been an official member of the Royal Family in 20 years but still shares a residence with her ex-husband.

However, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, has never forgiven the Duchess of York.

He is thought to be so upset at her toe-sucking scandal and embarrassment to the Royal Family that he will struggle to be in the same room as her at Princess Eugenie’s upcoming wedding.

Details for Princess Eugenie’s October 12 royal wedding already show it will have remarkable similarities to the pomp and pageantry seen at Prince Harry and Meghan’s big day.

Just like Harry and Meghan, the newlyweds will ride in an open-top carriage through the streets of Windsor after the ceremony, and there will also be a wedding reception hosted by the Queen at Windsor Castle.

Along with the location, Eugenie and Jack are copying another aspect from the May Royal Wedding, inviting 1,200 members of the public to their special day.

Once at Windsor Castle, those invited will be able to listen to a live broadcast of the marriage service and watch the start if the procession as the couple departs.

But Mr Fitzwilliams said the second royal wedding of the year won’t create the same buzz as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

He added: “The world wide frenzy that accompanied Harry and Meghan’s nuptials will be absent.

“It will be charming but relatively low key.”
