The future king and Duchess of Cornwall kicked off the third day of their royal tour at Llandovery Railway Station, one of the earliest stations built on the line in 1858.

The pair then travelled on the train from Llandovery to Builth Wells where they met Friends of the Heart of Wales line. 

Camilla, 70, looked summery in a pleated cream collared dress, while her husband Charles opted for a dark cream suit with a patterned pocket square. 

She teamed the look with a grey bag and cream and black courts. 

The Llandovery was buillt 10 years before the ‘Central Wales Line’ from Shrewsbury to Swansea was completed. 

The couple are also set to reopen the newly-renovated Edwardian community hall – The Strand Hall – in the market town of Builth Wells.

Dozens of excited ocal schoolchildren lined the streets waving Welsh flags to greet Prince Charles and Camilla. 

There they will tour a local farmers market in the hall and listen to a performance by Young Farmers clubs.

As the President of The Prince’s Trust, Charles will meet young people taking part in the ‘Get into Rural Skills’ programme and meet some of those who have taken part previously.

The programme aims to prepare young people for employment in the many rural industries locally, Brecon Beacons National Park Visitors’ Centre, Libanus, Brecon and Powys. 

Later today, the Prince of Wales will attend a service to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the National Health Service akibgsuded bNHS staff from across Wales.

The thanksgiving service will be hosted by Rt. Hon. Carwyn Jones AM, the First Minister of Wales and Dr Andrew Goodall, Chief Executive of NHS Wales.
