– ‘Knowing the gunman is still on the run is unnerving’
A resident, who lives directly opposite the scene, said: ”When I got back there was a load of police . It’s normally ok round here with no problems.
“That sort of thing never happens round here.
“I normally feel safe as there is a police station just half a mile up the road.
“The most you’ll ever see is cars passing but nothing like this.
“Knowing the gunman is still on the run is unnerving, especially when it’s on your doorstep.”
