The start date for the 2021 series of Dancing on Ice has been confirmed by ITV.

The new series, hosted by Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield begins next month, with Rebekah Vardy confirmed as one of the contestants.

Rebekah Vardy, wife of Leicester City FC player Jamie Vardy, was confirmed to be taking part in October, when the full line-up for the show was announced.

Alongside model and media personality Becky Vardy, the other contestants have been confirmed as Myleene Klass, Joe-Warren Plant, Denise van Outen, Faye Brookes, Jason Donovan, Sonny Jay, Colin Jackson, Graham Bell, Lady Leshurr, Billie Faiers and Rufus Hound.

Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, John Barrowman and Ashley Banjo will also be returning to judging duties.

The professional skaters have also been revealed for this year – they are Matt Evers, Alexandra Schauman, Lukasz Rozycki, Mark Hanretty, Vanessa Bauer, Hamish Gaman, Brendyn Hatfield, Andy Buchanan, Robin Johnstone, Matt Evers, Alexandra Schauman, Lukasz Rozycki, Mark Hanretty, Vanessa Bauer, Hamish Gaman, Brendyn Hatfield, Andy Buchanan and Robin Johnstone.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, much like Strictly Come Dancing, Dancing on Ice is asking the celebrities and their skating partners to form ‘mini bubbles’ to keep the show on track and avoid infection.

In October, Graham Bell explained that each bubble would consist of a celebrity, a pro skater and a coach. Each bubble would also have its own ice rink to keep them all separated.
