Giant Eagle is continuing to vaccinate people who are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine this week at Heinz Field.
The vaccination clinic was extended with three additional days from March 8-10. Giant Eagle officials confirmed that all vaccine appointments have been filled.
The clinic is for people who are eligible under Phase 1A of Pennsylvania’s vaccine plan.
Eligible patients are encouraged to check availability at www.GiantEagle.com/CovidClinic. Giant Eagle said appointments will be added as vaccine is made available.
Giant Eagle says people who have been unable to get an appointment for Heinz Field might have an easier time scheduling one at an in-store pharmacy as more vaccine becomes available.
“We know that this is a frustrating process, and we know people are anxious to get this vaccine and start to feel that relief and see that light at the end of the tunnel, but we really encourage folks to be patient,” Giant Eagle spokeswoman Jannah Jablonowski said.
