Announcing the date and location on their official Twitter account, Kensington Palace have release details of the youngest Prince’s christening.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are pleased to announce that the christening of Prince Louis will take place on Monday 9th July at The Chapel Royal, St James’s Palace, London.” The official account of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their Royal Foundation tweeted.
“Prince Louis will be christened by The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby.”
It will be the first Royal engagement for the youngest child of Kate and Wiliiam, who was born on April 23 this year.
This will make Prince Louis three months old when he is baptised.
The Chapel Royal at St James’s Palace is the same church that big brother Prince George was christened at.
Following Prince Louis’ birth, The Duchess has kept a relatively low profile whilst taking her maternity leave.
She did, however, attend Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding in May and joined the family at Trooping of the Colour.
