The Queen is known for her signature style of wearing bright colours.

But eagle-eyed royal fans have spotted the Queen often matches her umbrella with the exact shade of her outfit.

Sometimes, the Queen may even have umbrellas custom made in different shades, according to design magazine Bored Panda.

This is reportedly done to ensure she has enough choice depending on what she decides to wear that day.

So regardless of whether the Queen wears a mint green dress or a cream coat, she will alway be able to ensure her brolly makes the same fashion statement.

This summer, the UK has been through a record-breaking heatwave, so the Queen has not been pictured carrying many umbrellas.

But she wore a pale blue hat, dress and coat with a matching pale blue umbrella to a garden party at Buckingham Palace in June 2017.

When the Queen attend a Christmas Day church service at Sandringham in 2015, she wore a cosy-looking red coat with a thick fur trim, with a matching red umbrella.

Earlier in the same year, she opened the refurbished Birmingham New Street Station, wearing an eye-catching magenta coat with of course, a matching pink umbrella.

The Queen also wore the royal colour of purple with the same shade umbrella when she opened the Jubilee Gardens on October 25, 2012.

As autumn is almost upon us, perhaps we will soon see her wearing a burgundy outfit and umbrella ensemble to match the changing colour of the leaves.

People who want to follow in Her Majesty’s fashion footsteps can pay a visit to luxury umbrella supplier Fulton.

They make the Queen’s umbrellas in the exact shade she wants in the shape of specific birdcage design.

The supplier’s website describes the umbrellas as a “fashionable dome shape” with “transparent cover” that provide “fantastic coverage and visibility”.
