Traditionally, the summer month is the time most members of the Royal Family take their annual break.
It couldn’t come at a better time for the new Duchess, whose birthday falls on August 4.
The Sussexs aren’t the only Royals looking to getaway.
The Queen is already known to be holidaying at the Balmoral Estate in Scotland.
The Aberdeenshire castle is thought to be her Majesty’s favourite residence, and she has spent every summer there since she was a child.
However, she is currently on her own, as Prince Philip continues to recover from a recent hip operation at Sandringham in Norfolk.
The East Anglian residence is where the Royals spend their Christmas break.
William and Kate are also thought to be taking some time out in the sunshine.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are reportedly holidaying on the island of Mustique.
The Duchess of Cambridge’s parents – Michael and Carole Middleton – as well as her sister, Pippa, and her husband James – are also thought to be on the trip.
Prince George is thought to have celebrated his fifth birthday in the sunshine last week.
Charles and Camilla are also believed to have carried out their final public engagement of the summer.
Royal commentator Rebecca English tweeted earlier this week: “It’s the annual Sandringham Flower Show today – Charles and Camilla’s last joint engagement before the summer break.”
