Queen Elizabeth II looked radiant in a light blue coat as she celebrated the Queen Mother’s birthday and joked with Prince William and Prince Charles on the grounds of Clarence House.

During the Royal garden party, Her Majesty sat with the Queen Mother, Prince Charles and Prince William as the group discussed a game played between William and Charles.

Prince Charles said: “The last thing I remember was William saying ‘don’t shout at me’.”

William chuckled and said: “In slightly less polite language.”

In response, the Queen jokingly said: “Impolitely, I bet.”

William laughed and said: “There was a lot of family shouting going on.”

In April this year, the Queen and various members of the Royal Family were filmed for a documentary titled ‘Queen of the World’, which will be aired on ITV next week.

The documentary focusses mainly on the Commonwealth, of which the Queen is head of, and the meeting of the heads of government from the 53 nations, called CHOGM.

This was at the time when the Duchess of Cambridge was on maternity leave and Kate was not taking part in functions.

Meghan Markle is in the documentary viewing her wedding dress for the first time.

She beams with a smile and then touches the veil, which features hand-embroidered flowered from each of the 53 countries of the Commonwealth.

Meghan said: “53 countries, oh my goodness.”

Prince Harry also appeared during the trailer with insightful comments about his grandmother.

Revealing the intimate realities of having a Queen for a grandmother, he said: “If you suddenly bump into her in the corridor, don’t panic, and then you will, we all do.”
