Princess Eugenie, 28, revealed she made a charity visit to Serbia last week, despite being in the midst of planning her wedding.

She shared photos of the trip showing her meeting charity officials, volunteers and survivors connect to two charities based in Belgrade.

Posting the snap on her Instagram account, she said: “This time last week I had the honour of visiting Serbia with the United Nations Trust Fund to End Violence Against Women @untrustfundevaw.

“I visited Astra to hear about its SOS hotline which provides support and services to survivors of trafficking and Atina which works to prevent human trafficking of refugee women in the context of the current humanitarian crisis in Serbia as a host and transit country.

“What an incredibly eye opening visit meeting outstanding women doing brilliant work to survive and to support.”

The post received a plethora of support and positive comments from her followers and many thanks her for going “above and beyond” to help others during a busy time in her life.

One said: “Bride to be doing humanitarian work with no fuss….Amazing Princess!”

Another said: “Thank you for working as hard as you do! And while planning a wedding. Congratulations.”

Another added: “Good On You Sweety, it’s Great To Hear That You Are Such A Caring Person.

“People Like Yourself Who Are In The Public Eye So Often Can Really Help These Types Of Organisations, Help To Get It Out To The Public.”

Another another said: “Hi, I am from Indonesia, you are a good and beautiful princess.”

The daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson was joined on the visit by representatives from the United Nations Trust Fund to End Violence Against Women.

Princess Eugenie is a supporter of the UN Trust Fund and co-founder of UK based The Anti-Slavery Collective.

The delegation visited two charities, Astra and Atina, which are both funded by the UN.

Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, who dated for seven years, announced their engagement earlier in February this year.

Princess Eugenie’s wedding is set to honour her parents in one way.

The Archbishop of York, a nod to her parents’ titles, will also lead the prayers.

After the ceremony, Eugenie and Jack will embark on a “short carriage ride from the Royal Mews, out of Windsor Castle and on to part of the High Street.”

The Royals list places where the Royal Couple will be able to be seen, naming Castle Hill, the High Street and Park Street.
