Thomas Markle Jr questioned why his family have been frozen out while the Duchess of Cambridge’s uncle, Gary Goldsmith, was welcomed on to the firm.
The 58-year-old – who shares the same father as the Duchess of Sussex – said: “They have brought outsiders in before in the past like with the Middletons.
“I don’t see why our family is any different.
“Kensington Palace could have got involved a long time ago – as soon as they announced their engagement.
“They’ve dealt with this kind of stuff for a long time and why they did it this way, that’s the big question? Why?
“They could have looked after my dad and he would have been happy.”
Meghan Markle’s mother Doria Ragland was the only family member to attend her Royal Wedding to Prince Harry in May.
Members of the duchess’ family, including her half-brother and sister Thomas Jr and Samantha Markle, were snubbed from the spectacular Windsor wedding.
Thomas Jr claims Mr Goldsmith was welcomed into the fold despite four marriages and a conviction for domestic assault.
Mr Goldsmith, the brother of Carole Middleton, was exposed for giving undercover reporters cocaine at his villa on the Spanish party island of Ibiza in 2009.
Just two years later, the 52-year-old was invited to Kate’s Royal Wedding to Prince William at Westminster Abbey in 2011, joined by his ex-wife Luan and 14-year-old daughter Talulah.
He was later charged with assault after a fight with his wife in October 2017.
He admitted hitting his wife in the face and knocking her to the ground after a drunken argument.
Mr Goldsmith also attended Pippa Middleton’s wedding and both sisters were bridesmaids at his first wedding in 1991.
He is currently in his fourth marriage and is worth around £30 million, which is money he made in recruitment.
Thomas Jr told the Mail Online: “I think Uncle Gary and I would get along just fine.
“It would have been nice to at least get an invite to the wedding like he was.
“I don’t need to be brought into all the events or whatever but it would have been nice to be brought into that.”
His comments come amid reports the Duchess of Sussex will visit her mother in California.
Thomas Jr said Meghan should reach out to her father before it is too late.
He added: “Meghan’s capable of doing anything, she’s just got to want to do it.
“If she wants to make amends, by all means, she can do that, but she’s got to want to do it.”
