Princess Eugenie will walk down the aisle at St George’s Chapel on Friday October 12, in the second Royal Wedding of the year.

However, this royal occasion could rival Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s May wedding.

Eugenie and Jack have been together for seven years and met on a skiing holiday in Switzerland.

Eugenie is the youngest daughter of Prince Andrew of York and sixth grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip.

Despite their royal status, this royal wedding may not appear live on TV, over fears, there will not be enough interest.

BBC and Sky have promised to show clips from the ceremony, but it remains to be seen whether another channel will pick up the mantle and broadcast the big day live.

Taking place on Friday, October 12, the ceremony will begin at 11am.

Some 850 guests have been invited, which is more guests than St George’s Chapel can seat.

Invitations have also been sent to 1,200 members of the public who were selected by a ballot.

These guests will stand outside the church in the grounds of the castle during the ceremony, hoping for a glimpse of the arriving royals and celebrity faces.

After the ceremony the newlyweds will ride a carriage in a procession from the Royal Mews out of Windsor Castle and on to part of the High Street.

This will give members of the public the chance to see the couple from Castle Hill, the High Street and Park Street.

Unlike Harry and Meghan’s procession, the carriage will not travel along the Long Walk.

The procession will be followed by a reception held by the Queen at Windsor Castle.

Guests will then attend a black-tie evening reception at the Royal Lodge in Windsor, a property jointly owned by Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew despite their 1996 divorce.

The evening reception will not be the end of celebrations with Eugenie and Jack making their wedding a two-day affair.

Guests will be invited back to the Royal Lodge the following day for a much more relaxed wedding celebration.

A royal source told The Daily Telegraph: “After the more formal celebration at Windsor Castle, the Saturday bash will be a relaxed party.

“There will be dodgems and funfair rides, coconut shies, lots of food stalls, loads of cocktails, Bloody Marys for the hangovers and a festival vibe.”

Given the hiring of A-list party planners Bentley’s Entertainments, those invited can expect a host of exciting events.

Bentley’s Entertainments are known for planning David Beckham’s wedding to Victoria in 1999 and Zara and Peter Phillips wedding reception.

There will also be a star-studded guest list to rival Harry and Meghan’s, with Eugenie counting Cara Delevingne, Ed Sheeran and Sienna Miller amongst her friends.
