Just days after Meghan and Prince Harry wed on May 19 in St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in a fairytale ceremony, the Duchess of Sussex made first public debut as a member of the Royal Family.

Meghan shined at a Buckingham Palace garden party to celebrate her father-in-law Prince Charles’ 70th birthday only three days after getting married.

Since that historic day, the Duchess of Sussex has adjusted to being in the public eye as a royal despite her deteriorating relationship with her father Thomas Markle.

From her first solo engagement with the Queen, her Royal Ascot debut and her first overseas tour to Ireland with the Duke of Sussex, we take a look back at some of the Duchess’ most memorable moments as a member of the Royal Family.

On May 24, Meghan received a helping hand from the Duchess of Cornwall during Princes Charles’ 70th birthday celebrations at Buckingham Palace.

Camilla and the Duchess of Sussex were pictured holding hands in a sign of the closeness of their relationship as Meghan conducted her first royal engagement with Prince Harry as a married couple.

Body language expert Judi James revealed to Express.co.uk that the affection displayed by Meghan towards Camilla was “genuine” and that the “new parameters of open affection” she has displayed could bring “change” to how the royals interact with one another.

The heartwarming moment was captured as the pair enjoyed a performance by local children from the Andrew Curphey Theatre Company during the opening of the new Mersey Gateway Bridge, in Widnes, Cheshire.
