Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank will tie the knot on October 12, but outraged taxpayers are calling for the “House of Commons to urge the Government to commit no public money to the wedding”.

The petition was launched by Republic, a campaign group which works to build support for the abolition of the monarchy.
