MEGHAN Markle’s future sister-in-law has spent another night behind bars after being arrested for assault.

Darlene Blount, 37, who is the fiancee of Thomas Markle Jr, was arrested on a charge of assault in the fourth degree in Grants Pass, Oregon, on Friday.

She was bailed on Saturday, according to a deputy at Josephine County Jail in Oregon.A source claimed: “There was a domestic violence call at the home of Thomas Markle Jr and Darlene Blount.

“Darlene was arrested on assault charges.”

The arrest comes after she was involved in an alcohol-fuelled row with the Duchess of Sussex’s half-brother earlier this year.

Police were called to the home of Markle and his fiancee on New Year’s Eve.

She had allegedly told the 911 operator, the 51-year-old was being “really ******* weird” and was beating himself up.

Blount also claimed Markle had been drinking when he became jealous, thinking she was trying to “**** some dude” she knew when out at a local bar.

She claimed to be “scared” of her fiance because he is “a big guy” and implied to the operator he was mentally ill.

However, when officers arrived at the property in Grants Pass, they reportedly did not believe her story that he had hurt himself, which lead her to being arrested for assault.

Markle’s bride-to-be was locked up for two nights until the District Attorney opted not to press charges and later released her.

The couple said they were looking to have relationship and alcohol counselling after describing the incident as a “wake-up call”.

In January 2016, Markle was arrested for allegedly holding a gun to Blount’s head during a row.
