Little Sherin Mathews’ body has been sent to a funeral home by the Dallas medical examiner, Fox News learned Sunday.
A spokesman confrimed the body was released Saturday, but would not say to whom.
He referred further questions to the police department in Richardson, Tex., which is handling the investigation in the 3-year-old adopted girl’s death.
A Richardson police spokesman did not immediately respond to an email from Fox News seeking comment.
