Princess Eugenie and Meghan and Harry aren’t the only royals with baby news in 2021. Princess Anne’s daughter Zara Tindall gave birth to a baby boy over the weekend.

A spokesperson for Tindall, 39, said Lucas Philip Tindall was born Sunday evening and weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces. He is the third child of Tindall and her husband, Mike Tindall, and the Queen’s 10th great-grandchild. The baby’s middle name honors Prince Philip and Mike Tindall’s father, the BBC reported.

The infant was born on the bathroom floor of the couple’s home in Gloucestershire, since the couple was unable to get to a hospital in time, CNN reported.

The birth was announced by Mike Tindall on Wednesday during an episode of his podcast, “The Good, The Bad and The Rugby.”

Mike Tindall is a former captain of the English rugby team.

“It was run into the gym, get a mat, get into the bathroom, get a mat on the floor, towels down, ‘brace-brace-brace,’” Mike Tindall said during the podcast.

Zara Tindall is the daughter of Princess Anne, the Queen’s second child. She is a first cousin to Prince William and Prince Harry.

The birth of the Tindalls’ child follows those of Princess Eugenie’s firstborn son and Pippa Middleton’s baby girl, People reported.

The couple already has two children: Mia, 7, and Lena, 2.

According to a Buckingham Palace spokesperson, the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh are “delighted” at the news, the BBC reported.

They “look forward to meeting their 10th great-grandchild when circumstances allow,” the spokesperson said.

The child is 22nd in line to the throne.
