PIERS MORGAN, Good Morning Britain host alongside Susanna Reid, has been replaced on tomorrow’s show after revealing he’s had to take a test for coronavirus since suffering with a symptom of the deadly illness.
The outspoken journalist confirmed he will not appear on the show until he gets the results.
Taking to Twitter, he explained that he was tested for the virus after developing mild symptoms.
Piers Morgan explained that he expects to get the results of his COVID-19 test on Monday.
He wrote: ‘UPDATE: On medical advice, and out of an abundance of caution for a mild symptom that arose in past 48hrs, I’ve had a test for COVID-19 and so won’t be working on @GMB until I get the result back, which should be tomorrow.’
News of his COVID-19 test comes as Piers Morgan repeatedly denied that he was unwell on Good Morning Britain.

One viewer noted that the presenter looked ‘sweaty and flushed.’
However, Piers denied he was sick and said he looked unwell due to the fact he wasn’t wearing his normal makeup.
‘Apparently we’re getting a lot of people asking am I alright, that I don’t look great,’ he scoffed.
‘After the unfortunate orange head incident last week, in which I painted my head orange, I decided to no longer paint my face.
‘[I] just put a bit of powder on.
