A 12-year-old boy has died and five others were injured in a “deliberate” hit-and-run crash near a school.
The crash happened near Debden Park High School in Loughton, Essex, at about 15:20 GMT.

The road remains closed in both directions and a large emergency services presence – reportedly including eight police cars – is still at the scene.
“We have launched a murder investigation following a fatal collision in Loughton earlier today. A 12-year-old boy has sadly died,” a police spokesman said.
“We are appealing for help to find a silver Ford KA in connection with the collision this afternoon in Willingale Road.
