Jessica Simpson has finally given birth!
The singer-turned-designer and her former NFL pro husband Eric Johnson welcomed their third child together on Tuesday — a baby girl by the name of Birdie Mae Johnson. She weighed 10 lbs., 13 oz.
Simpson and Johnson are already parents to daughter Maxwell, 6, and son Ace, 5.
Simpson had been keeping her fans up to date throughout her third pregnancy, sharing incredibly candid photos on Instagram every step of the way.
Just two days ago, she shared a bikini photo highlighting her ready-to-pop belly. She playful captioned the shot, “Jess-tation.”
Earlier this month, the 38-year-old was admitted to the hospital for bronchitis. It was her fourth time with the illness in just two months.
“Coughing with Birdie has been a crazy, painful journey,” she said at the time. “I am slowly getting healthier every day. Baby girl was monitored and is doing amazing! I am on my way to healthy and [am] counting down the days to see her sweet smile. Sending love and prayers to all the mothers who are going or have gone through this. OUCH.”
Last month, Simpson even broke her toilet! “Warning: Don’t lean back on the toilet when pregnant,” she captioned the photographic evidence.
Before that, the new mom of three flashed the camera a peace sign as she posed up against two cars. “Tight squeeze, but I’m pushin’ through,” she said, also revealing she had to purchase her “very own sleep recliner” due to “severe pregnancy acid reflex.”
