Police say three explosive devices were found within hours of each other at major transport hubs in London today.
The packages, described as A4-sized white postal bags containing yellow Jiffy bags, were sent to Heathrow and London City airports and Waterloo station.
Scotland Yard said they appeared capable of “igniting a small fire when opened”. Stamps on the packages are believed to originate from Ireland.
The Met Police counter terrorism command has launched an investigation and is being helped by Irish police.
