COVID-19 UK: death toll rises by 778

The UK death toll has hit 12,107 as an additional 778 people died in the last 24 hours, the Department of Health has announced.

As of 9am 14 April, 382,650 tests have been carried out, with 14,982 tests on 13 April.

302,599 people have been tested of which 93,873 tested positive.

– NHS England announce 744 more deaths

An additional 744 people, who tested positive for the coronavirus have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 11,005, NHS England has announced.

The patients were aged between 34 and 102 years old, and 58 (aged between 38 and 96 years old) had no known underlying health condition.
