Just 12 days after the birth of her daughter Lena Elizabeth, the 37-year-old daughter of Princess Anne was spotted in following her husband, 39, on a golf buggy at the Newport Celtic Manor Resort golf course.

Zara was dressed in a casual oversized white shirt and jeans, a look previously favoured by Meghan Markle, the new Duchess of Sussex.

Mrs Tindall was pictured cuddling her four-year-old daughter, who was wearing a striped dress, as they went round the golf course.

Mr Tindall sported a white polo and printed white shorts, while his wife wore a white linen blouse and jeans.

The former English rugby player pecked his daughter on the cheek as he carried her down the golf course.

Mia looked adorable in her black and white striped dress and trainers as she ran along the fairway in the sunshine.

Noticeably absent from the family outing was the couple’s newborn baby, Lena.

The couple’s second child – the Queen’s seventh great-grandchild – was born on June 18 at Stroud Maternity Unit, Glouchtshire, weighing 9lb 3oz.

Her middle name, Elizabeth, is in honour of her great-grandmother, and she is 19th in line to the throne.

Her first name is pronounced Lay-na, a spokesman for the couple confirmed.

He said: “It was just a name they liked.”

The name has Greek origins, with “illustrious”, “temptress” and “the bright one” among possible meanings.

Lena is second cousin to Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

She will be known simply as Miss Tindall, as she does not have a royal title.
