The 28-year-old Royal posted a heartfelt image and caption on Instagram as part of International Scoliosis Awareness Day with a special thank you to the hospital who operated on her.
The post was shared to her 252,000 followers.
Princess Eugenie wrote: “Today is International Scoliosis Awareness Day and I’m very proud to share my X Rays for the very first time.
“I also want to honour the incredible staff at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital who work tirelessly to save lives and make people better.”
Eugenie is a patron of a £15million appeal to build a new ward block for the hospital at Stanmore, north London.
The Royal added: “They made me better and I am delighted to be their patron of the Redevelopment Appeal.”
One of her followers commented on the image saying: “My 11-year-old daughter is three weeks post op and Princess Eugenie’s story has really helped her thank you for sharing.”
While another fan wrote: “My daughter went through scoliosis at the same time, you were an inspiration to her.”
Princess Eugenie underwent surgery when she was just 12-years-old.
During a speech at youth empowerment event, WE Day in Wembley, London, earlier this year, the Royal said her sister encouraged her to not get “disheartened”.
The princess told the audience: “When I was 12 I was diagnosed with and treated for scoliosis and I have lived with two 12 inch metal rods in my back.”
Talking about her older sister Beatrice, Eugenie said: “It could have impacted my life and stopped me from doing the things I love.
“You encouraged me not to get disheartened. Not to give up. To live fearlessly.
“Today, I am so lucky to get to work with and support other young women who are going through the same thing… To encourage them to not let their diagnosis win. To live fearlessly too.”
Eugenie praised Beatrice for always being there to support her “no matter what”.
She said: “As my big sister, you inspire me. I love that, as a team, we work hard to support each other – no matter what.”
The use of metal rods is one way of treating children with scoliosis, which is where the spine is curved too much.
The rods are lengthened as the child grows and removed when they reach adulthood.
