The heir to the throne was all smiles for his second day at the races with his wife Camilla.

Charles and Camilla arrived in an Ascot Lauder carriage for the royal procession led by the Queen, who looked radiant in a pale blue outfit.

A thrifty Camilla recycled her outfit from her husband’s 70th birthday garden party as the Duchess of Cornwall wore the gorgeous mint green coat with lace trimmings for Ascot Day 2.

The pair were pictured examining the trophy and Longines watches moments before they presented awards to the winning jockey and trainer.

Sir Michael Stoute made Ascot history today as he became the most successful trainer folliowing the win with his horse Poet’s Word.

Camilla was later pictured enjoying a chat with jockey James Doyle.

The Duchess did not receive a kiss from the young jockey like Meghan Markle did on Day 1 from Frankie Dettori, who won the St James Park stakes yesterday on horse Without Parole.

Harry appeared slightly unimpressed with the gesture and was so besotted with his new wife that he was unable to let go of Meghan’s hand for most of the day.

Camilla and Charles also attended Day 1 of the races, arriving in a carriage with the Queen’s granddaughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

The Duchess of Cornwall chose a cream ensemble for the day and she was pictured having a good time with Meghan, who made her Royal Ascot debut yesterday.

Sophie, Countess of Wessex also made an appearance today as did the Queen’s daughter Princess Anne.

Sophie’s husband Prince Edward, the youngest son of the Queen, presented the trophy for the Duke of Cambridge stakes today.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have not made an appearance at this year’s Ascot.

Kate gave birth to her third child in April and has taken time off from royal engagements, while the Duke attended other duties today.
