The Royal Family have already sent out invitations to hundreds of guests, who are expected to join Charles for his 70th birthday party in the State Rooms on 14 November.
The Queen will pay a special tribute to the Prince of Wales during his private birthday party, according to palace insiders.
The private ceremony, organised by Her Majesty’s private office, will be paid through the Queen’s own funds.
In 2011, Prince Charles became the longest-serving heir to Britain’s throne.
The milestone has been acknowledged with a series of special celebrations throughout the year, including a Buckingham Palace garden party in May, but the Queen’s gift to Charles is set to top the list.
Details of the birthday bash have yet to be disclosed, but it is believed guests will include Charles’ and Camilla’s families as well as European royalty.
The Prince of Wales’ personal aide, Michael Fawcett, is expected to oversee proceedings even though the event is organised at Buckingham Palace.
Charles will also feature in a new BBC television documentary and two magazine profiles, to honour his 70th birthday celebrations.
The prince will also be honoured with a star-studded line up of world-renowned magicians and comedians at the London Palladium.
ITV will be broadcasting the spectacular performance – called We Are Most Amused and Amazed – on 14 November.
Broadcasters announced the show as a “a truly unique and unforgettable night where the world’s greatest comics join forces with the most accomplished of magicians to celebrate The Prince of Wales’s 70th Birthday”.
Organisers said the performance will see “a cast of comedy giants take to the stage, but will also showcase the best jaw-dropping illusions from the greatest magicians in the business”.
World renowned magician Dynamo is expected to make an appearance on the show, and spoke about how Prince Charles had believed in him early on in his career.
Speaking about how the Prince’s Trust helped him during difficult times, Dynamo said: “When I said I wanted to be a magician they didn’t laugh in my face as so many others had done, they gave me the help I needed.
“Prince Charles believed in me, this kid with crazy ideas like wanting to walk on the Thames.”
Richard Jones, a Britain’s Got Talent contestant is also expected to perform, after Prince Charles had previously featured in his magic show during a Royal Variety Performance in 2016.
The show’s line up has yet to be confirmed.
Charles has always expressed his love for magic, and even joined the exclusive secretive Magic Circle in 1975, stunning members with a classic cup and ball trick of his own.
