The British monarch will meet Mr Trump and his wife Melania at Windsor Castle, Berkshire, for tea during the second day of his four-day trip to the UK, which has sparked fury among protestors who do not want the controversial US President in the country.

As for the Queen though, she has sensationally cancelled plans for a day off today in order to squeeze in the delicious lunch with the power couple.

The Queen always has Fridays off, as well as Saturdays and Sundays from official engagements meaning she works a four-day week, which is remarkable given her 92 years.

But after a busy week of engagements, she put plans to have Friday off and focus on her daily papers on the back burner so she can host tea with the couple.

Mr Trump has told of his delight of meeting the Queen and praised her as a “tremendous woman”.

But it is Mr Trump’s loose-lipped ways that could also land him on hot water with the Queen.

There are a number of protocols that must be obeyed when meeting the Queen.

Not disclosing personal conversation with the Queen is one of them.

Another is touching the Queen. Like Mr Trump, the Queen prefers a handshake but he must allow her to take the lead and take her hand if she offers it first.

Michelle Obama came under fire when she appeared to put her hand around the monarch’s shoulders to gently lead her while walking while meeting the Queen in 2009.

Another protocol Mr Trump must not break is by calling the Queen by her first name, like Nelson Mandela did by calling her Elizabeth.

There are two ways to greet the Queen when Mr Trump meets her.

He could either bow or shake her hand.

But Mr Trump must be gentle, not just because of her age, but also because it would be deemed catastrophic if he went in white-knuckled and grabbed her hand like he has done with his political counterparts.

Mr Trump famously stormed off before a previous Nato meeting had finished last month.

But he should absolutely not do this during his tea with the Queen because the monarch must always be the first to leave.

Mr and Mrs Trump’s tea will last two hours this afternoon, with scones and sandwiches on the menu.

Earl Grey will be served instead of the traditional English Breakfast.
