The Duke of Cambridge revealed his eldest son has developed a keen interest for dinosaurs.
While visiting the Acorns Children’s Hospice in Birmingham on Tuesday, Prince William met children with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions.
Speaking with a child at the centre, he said: “Is that a triceratops?
“George is obsessed with dinosaurs, we’re learning all about them.”
Prince William also received a very suitable gift for Prince George, Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte at the end of his visit.
The centre gave the Prince three dinosaur themed colouring books, with one entitled, ‘The Big Book of Dinosaur Colouring’.
The Prince’s visit to the centre was of special significance as Princess Diana opened the facility in December 1988.
His visit marked the charity’s 30th anniversary, and he met families who regularly use the centre’s facilities, including a hydrotherapy pool and multi-sensory room.
Prince William has also previously revealed that Prince George is a fan of helicopters, enjoys the classic book The Gruffalo, and asked for a toy police car last year.
Prince George was previously photographed exploring a H145 helicopter in Hamburg during the family’s official visit to Poland and Germany in July 2017.
The young Royal’s uncle, Prince Harry, also revealed Prince George enjoys very wholesome activities.
He said: “I can always hear the wheels of those plastic tractors that George loves playing on.”
However, Prince William previously revealed Princess Charlotte follows after her mother and is a lover of fashion.
He revealed these details after being gifted a pink satchel for Charlotte, which was embossed with her name, during an engagement in Liverpool in June.
Commenting on the gift, the Prince said: “Charlotte will be obsessed with that – I’ll never be able to get it off her.”
