RITA Ora has been mocked by cruel Twitter trolls for her “cringey” lip-syncing during a Thanksgiving parade earlier today.
Singer John Legend has leaped to the singer’s defence following the backlash – insisting that all stars have to lip-sync at the parade.
A technical glitch during the performance meant that 27-year-old Rita’s song played a few seconds ahead of her, meaning that she was seen to be lip-syncing out of time.
Show bosses quickly cut to wide angle shots for the rest of the song, avoiding any close-ups to prevent further embarrassment for the British star.
But the cut didn’t come quick enough for eagle-eyed viewers, who took to Twitter to poke fun at the blunder.
One wrote: “IM CRYING AT @RitaOra F***ING UP HER LIP SYNC ON THE THANKSGIVING PARADE.”
Another added: “Things I learned today. Rita Ora can’t lip sync to save her life.”
A third quipped: “Rita Ora missing her cue for the lip sync and forcing the camera crew to only use wide shots is the highlight of the parade for me.”
This has got to be the worst lip sync in the history of #macysthanksgivingparade #RitaOra @RitaOra pic.twitter.com/uytjxMfbrd
