Eugenie and Jack’s wedding is just around the corner, and will be held at very same venue where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex tied the knot a few months ago.
Just like her cousin Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Eugenie and Jack will make rounds in horse and carriage after the ceremony, greeting royal fans who arrive to catch a glimpse of the royal couple.
However, Eugenie and Jack are set to have a much larger ceremony than Meghan and Harry’s due to a higher number of invited guests.
Eugenie’s wedding will see nearly 850 guests, an astonishing 250 more people than Meghan’s wedding in May.
St George’s Chapel in Windsor can only hold 800 guests at a time, meaning some of Eugenie’s guests might have standing room only.
The royal couple may choose to accommodate extra guests with additional seating arrangements.
Jack, 31 and Eugenie 28, will be inviting a line-up of celebrity guests – some of who were also invited to Meghan and Harry’s wedding.
Guests include George and Amal Clooney, David and Victoria Beckham, Robbie and Ayda Williams and artist Tracey Emin.
After the wedding ceremony, Jack and Eugenie will make a carriage procession to St George’s Hall to attend a breakfast hosted by the Queen and Duke of York.
Around 400 wedding guests will also be invited to a champagne evening party at the Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park.
The Royal Wedding will cost approximately £2 million, much less than their royal counterparts – Meghan and Harry – whose wedding cost a whopping £45 million.
Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh is expected to turn up for the ceremony, despite having a rocky relationship with Eugenie’s mother, Sarah Ferguson.
A royal source told the Daily Mail: ‘He absolutely adores Eugenie. He can’t stand up for very long, which makes church services hard work, and he can’t stand Fergie, but he wants to see Eugenie married and, if he is fit enough to be there, he will be there.
“It won’t be easy. Philip and Sarah will be in relatively close proximity to each other and Sarah’s very nervous about it.
People have been giving her some friendly advice.
“As long as she doesn’t go over the top on the day, it should all be fine.’
Royal expert James Brookes previously told Express.co.uk he believed Princess Eugenie’s sister, Beatrice, will most likely be the maid of honour during the big royal event.
“The sisters are extremely close, get on well and Eugenie’s said in the past that family means a great deal to her.
“It’s one of the reasons Sarah Ferguson’s also likely be involved in helping her daughter prepare for the big day too.”
Eugenie and Jack met seven years ago at the Swiss ski resort of Verbier and announced their engagement in February this year.
