The three-year-old princess has worn an array of pretty, different coloured dresses to many royal events this year.
Some of the royal events she has attended include Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding, and her younger brother Louis’ christening.
But is there a reason why she always wears dresses or does she just find them more comfortable than trousers?
Edel Ramberg, an award-winning Irish Milliner, believes Charlott’es mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, is the reason behind her dress sense.
Ms Ramberg told Express.co.uk: “I don’t think it’s a royal tradition, I would say it’s much simpler a reason as to why she’s always in dresses.
“Perhaps it’s an easier less analysed wardrobe choice by her mum.
“If she were to wear trousers and pullovers the looks would be more scrutinised, whereas a dress is timeless and simple.”
What other wardrobe traditions do the royals follow?
Similarly to Princess Charlotte, many other royals have been photographed in public repeating the same style of clothing.
Prince George is often seen in shorts, even in winter, which traditionally signals a child is part of the upper class elite.
The four-year-old, who is third in line to the British throne, should be able to start wearing trousers when he is eight-years-old.
George did, however, wear trousers for his Uncle Harry’s wedding where he acted as page boy.
The Prince and Princess’ mother Kate also dresses formally for public occasions, but has been pictured wearing jeans in her downtime.
The Duchess of Cambridge was not seen wearing a tiara before she tied the knot with Prince William – but now as a member of the Royal Family she wears tiaras to state events.
The Queen has her own style guide, as she rarely seen without her gloves.
These are worn for practical reasons, as she shakes hands with many people.
