Kate and William’s three-year-old daughter is often compared to her great-grandmother, the Queen, but this snap shows her uncanny resemblance to her beloved father.
Both father and daughter share the same cute button nose, pursed lips and eye shape.
They are even pulling the same serious facial expression.
The photo of Prince William was taken at Kensington Palace in 1985 when the prince was just two-years-old.
He is dressed in a striped top, shorts and a green raincoat.
While Princess Charlotte was snapped just a few weeks ago at the christening of her younger brother, Prince Louis.
There the adorable youngster stole the show when she treated well-wishers to her very own adorable royal wave.
Charlotte also showed off her cheeky side when she told photographers waiting outside St James’ Chapel that they were not allowed to come inside the church.
Proud father William, 36, previously opened up about his only daughter and her love for dancing.
During an appearance at the Commonwealth Day reception, William told Malta’s leader Joseph Muscat: “My daughter Charlotte loves dancing”.
And this is not the first time the doting dad has opened up about Charlotte, describing her as “trouble”.
He told patient Pagan Tordengrav during a visit to Aintree University Hospital in Liverpool: “She’s going to be trouble when she gets older.
“All fathers say that to me – watch out for the little girls.”
