One of her favourite hobbies is horseback riding, which also happens to be one of the Queen’s favourite activities.
This is very different from that of her older brother, Prince George, who was recently out enjoying a spot of hunting with his mum at the weekend.
But this shows the strong fascination in animals by both young Royals.
Amazingly, she has already been riding for half her life after she started when she was just eighteen months old, according to reports in Town and Country.
Natasha Baker, a decorated equestrian, revealed in 2016 what the Duchess of Cambridge said to her about Princess Charlotte and her horseback riding.
Ms Baker said: “I asked her how the children were and she said Charlotte is really enjoying her riding which is great to hear and I said we may see her here on a line-up in 20 years time.
“She emphasised that Charlotte has this passion for horses although she doesn’t echo it, she’ll do her best to champion and encourage it.”
Whilst Princess Kate is not the biggest fan of the sport, Charlotte can use the Queen as her inspiration and ask for help with riding.
The Queen, who is 92-years-old, has loved horses all of her life.
She has been a successful breeder of horses and also has a strong interest in racing and riding.
Only in April was she seen riding demonstrating how she will not let her age stop the Queen from carrying on her passion.
When Prince Louis was born, the Queen was even riding at Windsor Castle, according to W magazine.
The Queen and Princess Charlotte are not the only members of the Royal Family to enjoy horseback riding.
Zara Tindall, previously Zara Phillips, won a silver medal at the London 2012 Olympics.
And her mother Princess Anne also won medals at the European Championships on multiple occasions.
