The snap was taken in the garden at Clarence House after Prince Louis’ christening and shows a confident and big-grinned little boy.

This past year has been eventful for the third-in-line to the throne.

Prince George finished his firs year of school, joined the Queen on Buckingham Palace’s balcony for her official birthday and got to meet his new baby brother Prince Louis.

There is a lot of talk of what the prince will be doing for his birthday, but it likely he will spend time with his family.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have reportedly taken the family to the exclusive island to Mustique in the Caribbean.

According to royal blogger Tea Time with the Cambridges, a website dedicated to all things Cambridge family, the family were spotted arriving at St Lucia airport.

The family then reportedly boarded a private plane to take them to their next destination, the small private island of Mustique.

The Middleton family were also said to have been spotted with the Cambridges, embarking on the ultimate family getaway.

Despite the reported sightings, Kensington Palace has declined to comment, but Twitter is rife with news that family is now on the private island.

The couple has no public engagements scheduled until 8th August, giving the family some time to relax, unwind and keep out of the public eye.

Is it the first holiday Kate and William have taken with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge was  born on July 22, 2013 in the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital.

He weighed 8lbs and 6oz and made his first public appearance on the steps of the hospital while wrapped in a wool shawl in his parents’ arms.

A few months after George’s fourth birthday he started his first day of school at Thomas’s Battersea in South London and his dad William was the one to escort him. Kate was experiencing severe morning sickness as she was pregnant with Prince Louis.

George got a starring role as a sheep in his school’s Christmas nativity place.

The little prince loves helicopters, flying and absolutely adores everything related to the police.

George was most recently seen at the christening of his baby brother Louis at the Chapel Royal at St James’s Palace on July 9.
