The pair enjoyed the summer sunshine as they met local groups in the Cleddau estuary community of Llangwm to celebrate the village’s rich community spirit.
Camilla, 70, made the most of the hot weather in a knee-length blue tunic, while her husband kept cool in a linen suit and a pair of dark sunglasses.
It comes after the future king defied critics on Monday to formally mark the Second Severn Crossing being named after himself after a new poll suggested more than half of the Welsh people want a different name for the bridge.
The visit comes in the same week locals will mark Llangwm’s annual festival fortnight, which aims to celebrate skills, talent and sports across the community.
Pictures show the royal couple greeting dozens of schoolchildren who lined the streets to wave Wales’ flags.
The royal couple also witnessed the the locals’ attempts at baking the world’s largest Welsh cake.
Prince Charles will stay on in Wales until Friday, but Camilla will travel back to London.
She will attend the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Man Booker Prize at Buckingham Palace on Thursday.
