has been a lot of whispers about when Meghan Markle will fall pregnant with her first child to Prince Harry and Kate is currently on maternity leave after welcoming her third child with Prince William on April 23.

But who has announced they are pregnant?

In fact, it is the Kate’s official fashion stylist, Natasha Archer, and her husband who confirmed the news on Instagram on Monday.

Kate’s wardrobe adviser , who goes by the nickname of Tash, has been responsible for helping the Duchess select her show-stopping outfits over the last five years – and most recently her radiant look after the birth of Prince Louis outside the Lindo Wing.

Taking to Instagram, her husband, royal photographer Chris Jackson, posted a picture of Natasha cradling her bump and simply captioned the image: “And in other exciting news.”

The post received an outpour of heartfelt congratulations from Chris’ 93,000 Instagram followers.

One commented: “What a beautiful moment captured in time! (not surprised!) Hoping everyone is feeling well. Congratulations to you both!”

Another added: “Oh wow, congratulations both of you! What a wonderful time! That is going to be one good looking kid.”

Her husband then thanked fans on Instagram saying: “I’m currently driving (well obviously not at this moment) so won’t be able to reply immediately but we just wanted to say thanks for all the kind messages.”

The couple got married in May 2017 in a private ceremony at Château Rigaud near Bordeaux, France, surrounded by close friends and family.

The stylist, 30, is understood to be close with Kate and and has helped the mother-of-three take more fashion risks.

An insider previously told Vanity Fair: “Initially Kate was a reluctant fashion icon, but now she enjoys it. Tash helps source some of the clothes. She shops a lot for Kate online, and calls in hundreds of dresses for Kate to try on.

“She has persuaded Kate to take some more risks. The hemlines are shorter and Kate’s really pushing the boat out in the fashion stakes.”

Senior royals like Kate are expected to follow protocol over what they wear, with a strict set of rules including no bare legs, long hemlines and no high heels or wedges in the presence of the Queen.
