David Martin is a longtime friend of the Duchess of Sussex who also did her make-up of her big day in May.
He shared that she does her own make-up a lot so that she doesn’t waste any time.
Mr Martin said: “Since she does [her make-up] a lot herself, she doesn’t want to spend a lot of time fussing about it.
“She’s not a fussy person.”
Meghan prefers to stick to a natural, understated look that shows off her freckles.
Mr Martin said told Bustle that the newest royal is consistent in her looks.
He added: “[Meghan is] very easy and just knows her parameters of what she likes and what she’s comfortable in.
“She’s very decisive with how she wants to look.
“I think that moving forward and even in the past, you’ve always seen her in a specific way.
“We’ve maybe changed a bit of tone in the lip or done something different in her eye, but she’s very consistent with her makeup.”
Recently, Mr Martin revealed how the Duchess of Sussex asked him to do her make-up for the Royal Wedding.
Speaking during an appearance on Good Morning America, he told how his old friend, turned royal, asked him to be part of her glam squad.
He said: “Meghan and I communicate a lot through text because I travel for work and because of the time difference between the both of us, it’s hard to get on the phone.
“So she sent me a text asking what I was doing the weekend of May 19th.
“I was like, ‘I may be in Cannes for the film festival but what’s up’ and she sent me the bride and groom emoji right back and I literally dropped my phone.
“Then she sent me the shhhh emoji back so I couldn’t let anyone know. I was like ‘OK yeah, whatever you need.’”
Mr Martin has known Meghan since 2011.
