Meghan officially joined the Royal Family only on May 19 when she married Prince Harry, some 20 months after meeting him at a blind date.

While Meghan is facing a more difficult relationship with her own side of family, she seems to have already become a much-loved member of her new British one, with the Royal Family publicly displaying their affections towards her.

Throughout the months, the Duchess has been able to build tight-knit relations with all her newly-acquired in-laws.

Pictures show her cosying up to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge during the last months.

The relationship seemed already solid ahead of the wedding, with Meghan taking part in the annual review of the couple and Prince Harry’s charity, the Royal Foundation in February.

After the wedding, she officially became part of the charity, starting committing to work on projects focused on female empowerment.

And in April Meghan and Prince William were seen sharing a friendly kiss on the cheek before the Anzac Day service at Westminster Abbey.

The pair also reached out physically to one another, with the Duke touching Meghan’s shoulder – a move signalling an already warm bond between them.

Months later, the former actress joined her sister-in-law Kate to watch the Ladies’ Singles Final at Wimebledon 2018.

As their first solo outing dismissed rumours there was an ongoing rivalry between the duo, a royal source revealed Meghan let the Duchess take the lead on the day to learn from her.

But Meghan is much-loved also by older members of the family.

In what has been seen by many as a loving and fatherly act, Prince Charles walked bride-to-be Meghan down the aisle on her wedding day, hours after she received the sad news her dad Thomas Markle Snr would have not flown from Mexico to attend her big royal day.

And just three days after the Royal Wedding, she attended her first royal engagement, where she shared a laugh with her father-in-law and his wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, at his 70th birthday patronage celebration.

But most importantly, the former Suits actress received the blessing of the Queen.

On June 14, she embarked on her first solo trip on the Royal Train with the monarch.

During their royal outing in Chester, Meghan joked with the Queen and even made her crack up on a joke.

And on the day, the Duchess was wearing a pair of pearl and diamond earrings given by the monarch as a gift.
