According to a source close to the former Suits actress, Meghan does not often venture out of Kensington Palace, but when she does, she is often in disguise.
The insider told People that the Duchess spends “most of her weekends in the Cotswolds with Harry”, where the couple are thought to have bought a house following their May 2018 wedding.
But regarding her London routine, the source noted: “When she does venture out to Pilates or to get her hair done, she normally goes incognito under a baseball cap.
“The only other place she has visited regularly is Whole Foods, which is little more than five minutes away from Kensington Palace.
“That way she can quickly sneak in and out without anyone noticing it’s her.”
Meghan was photographed at Whole Foods, the organic supermarket in Kensington, in November 2016, a year before her and Harry announced their engagements.
More recently, CBS journalist Lisa Petrillo posted a picture on Twitter of someone resembling Meghan, wearing an outfit which matches the insider’s description.
Ms Perillo wrote on Twitter: “So incredibly enough, walking by Kensington Palace we spotted this beautiful woman with a familiar air outside the entrance to the private residence where Harry & Meghan live.
“Meghan!? Her dog was doing his business.
“She couldn’t have been sweeter.”
But TMZ quoted a source close to Buckingham Palace, who claimed that Meghan is not the woman in the picture shared by the CBS reporter.
Meghan will not be able to use her incognito look for much longer, as the Duchess has an agenda filled with Royal engagements.
The Royal couple have been invited to visit Australia and New Zealand by the countries’ respective governments in October.
The Duke and Duchess will also travel to the Pacific Islands of Fiji and Tonga during their whirlwind tour, as they seek to increase their engagement with Commonwealth nations, after the Prince took on the role of Commonwealth youth ambassador in April.
Their visit to Australia and New Zealand is their first overseas visit as a married couple.
