Together: Our Community Cookbook remains number two in Amazon’s book chart on pre-order copies alone, beating big names Jamie Oliver and Deliciously Ella.
The collection of 50 recipes was created by the Hubb Community Project, a group of women who began cooking together at a communal kitchen near to the blaze which killed 71 people.
Meghan Markle, 36, penned the book’s three-page foreward and has given it her public backing to raise funds for victims of the tower disaster.
The duchess has written about her visits to the kitchen and its powerful impression in her first solo endeavour since marrying into the British Royal Family.
In the foreward, Meghan writes: “I immediately felt connected to this community kitchen; it is a place for women to laugh, grieve, cry and cook together,”
“Melding cultural identities under a shared roof, it creates a space to feel a sense of normalcy – in its simplest form, the universal need to connect, nurture, and commune through food, through crisis or joy – something we can all relate to.”

Together: Our Community Cookbook will be released on September 20, priced at £9.99.
“I was in Canada at the time, sharing the global sentiment of shock and sympathy for what this community was enduring, while also deeply wanting to help.
“Fast-forward seven months, and I was set to meet some of the women affected by the fire, at a community kitchen in Al-Manaar.”
All profits from the book sales will go directly to the Hubb Community Kitchen.
