During the trip to the Southbank Centre’s Queen Elizabeth Hall, the Duchess of Sussex sported a stunning sleeveless trench coat dress.

The outfit was from House of Nonie, which is a Canadian brand based in the city of Calgary.

After being pictured in the elegantly designed piece, the brand celebrated “an amazing day” and thanked Jessica Mulroney who is understood to be the unofficial stylist of the Duchess.

House of Nonie tweeted: “What an amazing day for us!

“The stunning Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle in our Sleeveless Trench dress.

“Thank you Jessica Mulroney.”

The decision to wear a Canadian brand appears to mark a fashion divergence for the Duchess of Sussex.

During her recent tour of Ireland with her husband, the Royal was seen sporting a variety of British brands.

Jessica Mulroney is also credited to have been the unofficial wedding planner for the Duchess of Sussex.

She is understood to have called the Duchess and accompanied her to dress fittings.

Author Katie Nicholl, who penned “Harry: Life, Loss, and Love” insisted the Duchess “really looks up to Jessica”.

She told Cosmopolitan: “Meghan really looks up to Jessica.

“She thinks she’s a talented person, a wonderful mother, and a great best friend.”

The pair met during the Duchess of Sussex’s time living in Toronto.

There she filmed the hit-series and legal drama Suits.

Ms Nicholl added the two “hung out all the time” and “for years, she styled herself on Jessica”.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the Mandela exhibition yesterday at London’s Southbank Centre in Queen Elizabeth Hall.

The exhibition is open to the public and marks 100 years since the birth of Nelson Mandela.
