Chloe Mullins, 19, clocked the Duke and Duchess of Sussex greeting fans in the Irish Republic and sized the opportunity to give them a very personal present.
The art student handed the newlyweds a beautiful sketch she did of one of their official wedding snaps released by Kensington Palace in the run-up to the bash in Windsor, Berkshire.
The black and white pencil drawing, which looked incredibly life-like showed Meghan, 36, closing her eyes and cupping Harry’s grinning face with her hands while displaying her dazzling engagement ring.
Ms Mullins snapped the couple’s shocked reactions when she presented the gift to them and put the image on her Instagram page where it racked up a flurry of likes and comments.
Ms Mullins captioned her social media post with the comment: “Ya girls artwork going in Kensington Palace.
“Delighted to have gotten to talk to them and have them keep my drawing. “They’re genuinely so nice!!!”
The delighted teen also told the Irish Examiner about her hilarious exchange.
She said: “Harry said ‘You’ve given me more hair’.
“He saw it and was like, ‘Wow’.
“Meghan came over and he said ‘Look at this, what do you think of it?’ She said wow too and thanked me for it.”
Ms Mullins then went back on social media to further gush about meeting the couple, who wed in a lavish ceremony on May 19.
She said: “Still not over meeting them… couldn’t ask for a better compliment than Meghan saying my drawing ‘looked like a photo’ and was ‘so special’. Great day!”
The sketch was from the couple’s engagement shoot, which was done by royal photographer Alexi Lubomirski at Frogmore House where the pair had their wedding reception.
Harry and Meghan have been married for even weeks and are currently settling into married life.
The couple have had a busy few days this week as they have made a number of appearances together.
