The Italian magazine Chi said the Duke and Duchess of Sussex enjoyed a trip the Clooney’s exclusive retreat where they spent time looking after the Clooney’s 10-month twins, Alexander and Ella and enjoying playing basketball together.
Local police led a tight security operation to ensure the newlyweds remained safe during their visit to the Clooney’s luxury 18th century villa, Villa Oleandra.
Meghan and Harry arrived last Thursday evening on a private flight and left on Sunday from Malpensa private airport.
On Saturday evening, George Clooney hosted a gala dinner with 15 friends for his royal guests.
The Clooneys attended Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding in May where Amal, a human rights lawyer, wore a stunning yellow Stella McCartney dress with a matching hat.
George reportedly danced with Meghan at the exclusive reception of 200 guests at Frogmore House in Windsor Castle.
Harry and Meghan spent their weekend at the villa in northern Italy where George filmed parts of his blockbuster film “Oceans Twelve”.
Meghan and Harry are due to attend a gala performance of the West End musical Hamilton on Wednesday August 29 in support of the Sentebale charity, which Prince Harry is a patron of.
The royal couple, who tied the knot in May, are also expected to make a visit to Balmoral to visit the Queen and Prince Philip where they are on their summer break.
The Duchess of Sussex has reportedly jet off alone to Toronto where it is thought she is expected to meet friends before she goes to California to see her mother Doria Ragland.
Meghan lived in Toronto for six years before moving to London last year, filming all seven series of Suits in the city.
Her father Thomas Markle will be in Mexico but it is not known if the Duchess will meet her father, following their long-running feud.
