The two couple apparently had a secret double date at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s country home in Oxfordshire.
It was while Priyanka and Nick were England earlier this month, and during the week the pair became engaged.
Although not much else is known about the couple’s trip to see the Royals, E News reported the Duchess of Sussex approves of the engagement.
She is thought to be “very excited” for the two.
An insider told E News: “Everyone is very happy and they are definitely a great match.”
Ms Chopra has recently praised her longtime friend for handling the pressures of the limelight since her relationship with Prince Harry.
She said: “She’s always been someone who’s so just aware and interested in the world.
“I met her three or four years ago and that’s what we bonded on—was how much we feel like we contribute to that as public people.
“I really feel like that’s what she was born to do and I hope this gives her the opportunity to do that.”
Mr Jones picked out his engagement ring during a London trip to Tiffany and Co.
He reportedly shut down the entire store to make sure he had ample time and privacy to decide upon the perfect ring.
Ms Chopra attended the Royal Wedding in May this year.
There is therefore a good chance the Duchess of Sussex may make an appearance at Chopra’s own nuptials.

A source told People that their 11-year age gap does not bother them.
