The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have reportedly not had any contact with the retired lighting director since his bombshell interview with Good Morning Britain.
Mr Markle claimed the Royal Family have distanced themselves since he opened up about Prince Harry’s political views.
A source told Entertainment Online: “They are frustrated he keeps speaking to the tabloids and taking payment for interviews.”
It comes after Mr Markle, 73, said he feels he has been “put in a penalty box” following his chat with presenter Piers Morgan.
Mr Markle told TMZ: “If the Queen is willing to meet our arrogant and insensitive president she has no excused not to meet me, I’m nowhere near as bad.”
The 73-year-old last month revealed what his son-in-law Prince Harry, 33, really thinks of US President Donald Trump in an explosive tell-all interview.
The retired lighting director told how the Duke of Sussex said Mr Trump should be given a “chance” and that he was “open to the experiment of Brexit” during their private conversations.
The explosive interview is said to have upset the Queen and infuriated Buckingham Palace officials.
And now Mr Markle fears he has been frozen out by the Firm as his daughter, the new Duchess of Sussex, adjusts to her new royal life.
Mr Markle backed out of walking Meghan Markle down the aisle for her Royal Wedding to Prince Harry at last minute to recover from a heart operation.
He instead watched the Royal Wedding alone at a £23-a-night Airbnb in Mexico eating jelly and fruit salad, according to reports.
Soon after it emerged the new bride and her husband Prince Harry have been calling Mr Markle to make sure he slows down in his recovery.
Kensington Palace has declined to comment on the claims when contacted by Express.co.uk.
