Kate gazes lovingly at her new born, Prince Louis, who was christened at St James Palace on Monday
The Duchess of Cambridge was pictured smiling radiantly as she cradled Prince Louis gently in her arms, with the newborn looking calm in his mother’s warm embrace.
The gaze from a besotted Kate is a look familiar with new mothers, and she looks in awe of her third child.
The candid photograph was taken in Prince Charles’ garden at Clarence House, with the other portraits taken in the Morning Room.
The Royal Family looked cheerful and proud as they posed for the camera in their finery, just after Prince Louis was christened at the Chapel Royal in St James Palace on Monday.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Charles, Camila, Kate, William and their two other children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, joined Prince Louis for family portraits following the royal ceremony.
Kate’s sister, Pippa Middleton and her husband, James Matthews, grandparents Michael Middleton and Carole Middleton, along with the Duchess of Cambridge’s brother, James Middleton, were also present for a photograph.
In a heartfelt moment, Princess Charlotte, three, was pictured staring lovingly at her baby brother, Prince Louis, clutching his hand while Prince George 4, gave a wide grin to the camera.
Charlotte looked adorable in a ruffled white dress with blue detailing, donning a bright blue bow on her head, while George looked prime and proper in a white collared shirt with black shorts and black shoes to match.

Prince Louis, who is fifth-in-line to the throne wore a silk handmade replica of the Royal Christening Robe, made by the Queen’s dressmaker, Angela Kelly in 2008.
It has been worn by his siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte, having been made as a replica of the 1841 gown worn by Queen Victoria’s eldest daughter during her christening.
Other royal babies had worn the robe since then, but it became too fragile to be worn again in 2008.
Meanwhile, Kate was dressed in a bespoke Alexander McQueen dress, with a floral Jane Taylor hat and matching pearl earrings.
