Princess Eugenie and fiancee Jack Brooksbank will tie the knot on Friday, October 12 in St George’s Chapel, Windsor.
Of course, the Royal Family will be there, dressed in their finest for the nuptials.
Aside from the bridal gown, all eyes will be on the outfit choices of the stylish royals, particularly Kate, Duchess of Cambridge and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.
But Kate has developed a reputation for re-wearing her ensembles, and for a good reason.
Kate wore a recycled outfit for the wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in May.
She also re-wore garments to the 2011 wedding of Zara and Mike Tindall.
And then in 2012, she was spotted re-wearing dressed to the nuptials of Emily McCorquodale to James Hutt and again for the 2013 wedding of William van Cutsem and Rosie Ruck Keene.
So why does Kate do this?
Kate, 36, does have a reputation for thriftiness, but money is certainly not the problem.
The real reason is said to be that Kate does everything she can to avoid stealing attention from the bride.
While it’s not her special day, Kate knows her role as future Queen Consort means she’s of great public interest.
With her outfits scrutinised, she’ll re-wear clothes to make less of a fuss.
But it’s not only her own clothes she recycles.
Her children – George, 5, Charlotte, 3, and Louis, five months, have all been spotted in the same garb.
For example, Louis was spotted in the same white jumper as big sister Charlotte for his first official photos.
And Princess Charlotte was photographed in the same blue jumper we’d seen on big brother George.
What do we know about Princess Eugenie’s wedding?
The wedding will be a two day affair, starting with the ceremony at Windsor Castle.
After the Windsor Castle ceremony on Friday October 12, the newlyweds’ carriage procession will take them from the Royal Mews out of Windsor Castle and on to the High Street.
This will give members of the public the chance to see the couple from Castle Hill, the High Street and Park Street.
The procession will be followed by a reception held by the Queen at Windsor Castle, and then attend a black-tie evening reception at the Royal Lodge in Windsor.
Then on Saturday, the real partying will begin.
A royal source told The Daily Telegraph: “After the more formal celebration at Windsor Castle, the Saturday bash will be a relaxed party.
“There will be dodgems and funfair rides, coconut shies, lots of food stalls, loads of cocktails, Bloody Marys for the hangovers and a festival vibe.”
There will be a star-studded guest list to rival Harry and Meghan’s, with Eugenie counting Cara Delevingne, Ed Sheeran and Sienna Miller amongst her friends.
