The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were in attendance at the wedding of Kate’s best friend, Sophie Carter, to Robert Suggs at St Andrew’s Church in Letherinsett, Norfolk, over the weekend.

But ever the friend, Kate is understood to have loaned her personal hair stylist, Amanda Cook Tucker, to the bride for the big day.

Kate and Sophie attended Marlborough together and have remained close friends since they were young schoolgirls.

William and Kate’s children, Prince George, 5 and Princess Charlotte, 3, were also reprised their roles as bridesmaid and page boy on Saturday.

They were among seven youngsters taking part in the wedding.

Kate’s brother, James Middleton and their parents, Michael and Carole Middleton, were all in attendance at the wedding.

They have known Kate’s friend Sophie since she was a schoolgirl.

However noticeably absent was the Duchess’ sister Pippa who is due to give birth to her first baby soon.

Kate looked stunning in a blue coat designed by Catherine walker, accompanied by a floral headdress which was said to have been created by Juliette Botterill Millinery.

Ms Tucker, who has a close relationship with the Cambridge family, is on hand to help with Kate’s fashionable hair styles at the drop of a hat.

The hair stylist, who has been a hairstylist for Kate along with Prince William and Prince Harry for many years, was the second person to meet Prince George when he was born in 2013.

She was called into the Lindo Wing shortly after Kate gave birth in order to prepare the Duchess for visitors and the pack of photographers waiting outside the hospital.

The hairstylist is also reported to have met Prince George prior to the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall, and Kate’s parents Carole and Michael Middleton.

She is also often seen accompanying the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on tours.

In 2016, Ms Tucker joined William and Kate’s 12-strong team on their grand tour of Canada.

The team also included the George and Charlotte’s nanny Maria Borrallo as well as Kate and William’s three private secretaries Miguel Head, Rebecca Deacon and Laura Baker.
