You know it’s love when your boyfriend dresses up in a Shrek costume, complete with prosthetics, for your annual Halloween party. The Tokio Hotel musician Tom Kaulitz did exactly that for Heidi Klum earlier this year, and now the couple have announced they are engaged. Klum posted an ecstatic Instagram on Christmas Eve, writing I SAID YES and showing off her new ring.
Kaulitz and Klum made their first public appearance together in May at the Cannes amFAR Gala. This will be Klum’s third marriage after her most recent marriage to Seal, with whom she had three children. In a sweet Instagram post earlier this month, Klum showed her now-fiancé Kaulitz playing guitar with her daughter Lou.
It’s officially engagement season—that period between Thanksgiving and New Years when many people pop the question—and celebrities are clearly no exception.
