The late People’s Princess was the first royal bride who worked in the run-up to her 1981 nuptials to Prince Charles.
After attending finishing school in Switzerland, Princess Diana was a nursery school teacher.
She worked at the Young England School in Pimlico, London, and is believed to have been the very first royal to have worked after marrying into the family.
Fans of the royals will no doubt already know that Meghan Markle, 37, had her own career before she married Prince Harry and became the Duchess of Sussex on May 19.
She was an actress in US TV programme Suits, having played popular character Rachel Zane for seven years before giving her acting dreams up to marry the son of Princess Diana.
Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, also worked in the run-up to her wedding to Prince William in 2011 having devoted her time to fashion giant Jigsaw.
Bride-to-be Eugenie is also a working royal and works for an art dealer.
Last year, the 28-year-old granddaughter of the Queen was promoted to director at Hauser & Wirth, a contemporary art gallery in London where she has spent the past three years working.
Princess Eugenie will continue to work after her wedding and in June, five months after the announcement of her engagement to Mr Brooksbank, 32, it was announced Eugenie scooped a second job as ambassador for global marine charity Project Zero.
She said in an Instagram post at the time: “I’m so excited to have recently become an Ambassador of Project 0 whose aim is to restore and protect the ocean.”
In just two weeks Eugenie and Mr Brooksbank will flock to Windsor to tie the knot in a lavish ceremony at St George’s Chapel on October 12.
Her cousin Prince Harry wed Meghan there in spring and like bride-to-be Eugenie also will, they undertook a carriage procession through Windsor where they greeted the 100,000 well-wishers after becoming husband and wife.
